After receiving your course tuition, we have two choices for you:

Choice One: You will get a study link and several professional books, and you will have to finish answering all the questions, completing the test, and doing the teaching practice. And then you can receive the certificate. This is suggested for those who have no teaching experience and really need to get some teaching techniques through doing this course and get the certificate in the meantime. You can get the in-class teaching practice through our center as well. If you take this choice, you will normally get the certificate in about 1-2 months’ time.

Choice Two: 

You will get the certificate within 5-10 working days after you have paid for the course. You need to finish answering some questions/tasks after reading two professional books that will be sent to you. You need to do some in-class teaching practice through Skype or at our training center as well. This choice is good for those teachers who have good teaching experience but need a certificate to get certified, esp. for a work visa or a teaching job as all schools in China require teachers to have a TESOL/TEFL certificate. 

If you take Choice One, here are the application steps：

(1)You make the payment of RMB4500 for the course.

(2)We will send you a receipt of payment with our company’s stamp.

(3)You send us your passport copy and email address.

(4)We will send you a study link from American TESOL Institute. We will email you 3 books. You will mainly refer to Book 2 to answer the questions on the link. You should finish reading Book 1 and Book 3 as well because they are very useful for your teaching. 

(5)You will finish answering all the questions and doing all tasks on the link. 

(6)We will arrange for you to do the online teaching practice (if you are not in Shanghai) or in-class teaching practice (if you are in Shanghai). We will give your guidance for improving your teaching techniques.

(7)You will receive the hard copy of the certificate in 1 to 2 months if you finish the questions on the link on time.

If you take Choice Two, here are the application steps：

(1)You make the payment of RMB4500 for the course.

(2)We will send you a receipt of payment with our company’s stamp.

(3)You send us your passport copy and your resume with teaching experience.

(4)We will email you some books from American TESOL Institute. You will get 3 books. You can find all the questions and Tasks on Book 1. You will mainly refer to Book 2 to answer the questions and finish the tasks. You should finish reading Book 3 as well because it is very useful for your teaching. Please write down your answers to the Book 1’s questions and tasks on a separate WORD file and email them tom me. The WORD file with the 22 questions/tasks will be emailed to you as well.

(5)We will arrange for you to do the online teaching practice (if you are not in Shanghai) or in-class teaching practice (if you are in Shanghai). We will give your guidance for improving your teaching techniques.

(6)You will receive the soft copy of the certificate in 5 to 10 working days. The soft copy is enough for getting a work visa for the first step. We will send you the hard copy once you finish answering the questions or doing the tasks from book 1. 

Please note that for both Choices, we guarantee to help you successfully pass the course assessment and make sure you will get the certificate with your cooperation after you sign up for the course.

(5) Compared with other certificates, what are the strengths of this one?

A. It is 120-hour in-class certificate that is required by the Chinese government and school. Many online certificates or those with less than 120 hours are not workable in China now. 

B. Also all our certificates are authentic and are in good standing with The American TESOL Institute, chartered under the laws of the United States of America. 

(6) What are the differences between TESOL and TEFL?

TESOL is more complete than TEFL. In a sense, TESOL includes TEFL. We can provide a TEFL course as well.

(7) Is the certificate valid for life?
